Our signature scent

It began over late night chats amidst fits of giggles between friends. Andrea of Herb & Lunar Botanics and I started to dream up a colliding of worlds- a meeting of incense & flowers and a collaboration celebrating friendship & creativity.

We’ d spoken of creating a scent together over the years potentially for a perfume oil or incense. It wasn’t until I started to grow Boronia in pots behind my caravan that the scent landed. When the Boronia was flowering and the winds were up, this familiar, rich, spicy scent would waft all around my caravan home, revealing itself.

Together with Andrea we formulated and tested the scent by combining other natural materials of Sandalwood, Frankincense & Makkho. We trialled different quantities of each ingredient and the inclusion of the raw, dried boronia flowers inside each stick. This proved to create a way too smoky fragrance, so the raw plant material was canned and we chose to work with the Boronia Absolute oil.

We ended up with a balanced scent that is rich, decadent & memorable and we hope you enjoy it too!
