Incense Dish
We’ve entrusted our favourite local Potter Kelly Greenhalgh to create incense dishes to compliment our Boronia incense. Kelly works with Australian clays fired to 1220°c in her home studio in Scotts Head, NSW. Kelly is a conscious creative making every effort to reduce waste and environmental impacts in her studio. By reclaiming clay, utilising rainwater and running her kilns on solar power, Kelly intentionally works with her natural environment.
Each incense dish is illustrious drawing inspiration from nature’s palette in tones of brown, purple and blue and shimmering in the sun. These colours perfectly compliment the plum brown flowers of Boronia in bloom. Like nature each dish is unique in its appearance with glaze variations occurring due to the reactive minerals of Iron and Titanium used in the glaze.
These incense dishes are handcrafted to hold our Boronia incense and make the perfect pairing.
-We recommend handwashing your dish. Avoid exposing your dish to extreme temperature changes which can cause thermal shock and may damage ceramics.
All orders are shipped on Wednesdays.
